Old Pulteney Row to the Pole
The Old Pulteney Row to the Pole sees Arctic adventurer Jock Wishart undertake one of the world’s last great ‘firsts’. In the autumn of 2011 he will attempt to row to the earth’s Geomagnetic North Pole.
Whitespace developed a logo for the expedition that could be used in print and on promotional materials. Then a website was created to promote the PR launch of the expedition and to introduce Jock Wishart through a video and blog. The blog is linked into an official Row to the Pole Facebook page, also maintained by Whitespace.
Because of the long preparation time needed for an expedition of this type the website will be used for online competitions maintaining interest and driving sign-ups. When the expedition is underway there will be a live interactive map tracking the adventurous crew on their way to the Magnetic North Pole.
