It’s far too easy to fall into marketing bingo lingo when talking about a ‘brand’ – in fact our title ‘brand identity creation, management and development’ is quite a mouthful. Sorry. Talking about brands is necessary because:
- Your brand is who you are, internally and to your audience. It’s everything you do and the way you do everything – not just the way your ‘logo’ looks and the colours you have to use.
- As well as creating new brands, we also review brands to make sure they are still fit for purpose, updating or developing.
Oh baby that’s what I love
We need to get to the heart of your organisation; business objectives; products, services and/or offer; markets; competitors; audience; and audience needs. (How we do this is covered under research, strategy and planning.) This knowledge means we can develop a brand positioning sometimes shown as a brand wheel.
From this a creative brief will guide design concepts and development of your brand, resulting in updated or new brand guidelines including a comprehensive toolkit from fonts to tone of voice. We can then apply these guidelines to your marketing communication collateral, including templates, to ensure you are self-sufficient well into the future.
