The Periodic Table of Typefaces

This particular Periodic Table lists 100 of the most popular, influential and notorious typefaces of today.

As with most periodic tables, this table presents the subject matter grouped categorically. The Table of Typefaces groups by family and class of typeface: sans-serif, serif, script, blackletter, glyphic, display, grotesque, realist, didone, garalde, geometric, humanist, slab-serif and mixed.

Ranking was somehow determined by statistically sorting and combining lists and opinions from a number of other 'type' obsessed websites.
