Free Lunchtime Learning seminars are back at Whitespace
After the success of the first round of Lunchtime Learning seminars here at Whitespace we’ve decided to bring them back.
We’re keen to share our holistic approach to digital marketing strategies and there’s something for everyone here no matter what your tech savvy level is.
Take a look at what’s on offer below and of course get in touch if you’d like to come along to one or all of our seminars!
The Conversion Machine
This seminar explores how to create a website that achieves its goals (with a little help from search engines). It covers the steps required to create a digital strategy that delivers visitors, and ultimately conversions.
Content is King
All websites live or die by the content they carry, and people demand ever more rich and relevant information and engagement. This seminar covers all aspects of the creation of online content. How to write for the web, how to structure content, the possibilities that rich-media offers and the power of social media.
How good is your website?
This has proved to be one of the most popular, and challenging, of the seminars so far. During the session, the fundamentals that make a well designed website, and the main do’s and don’ts of online success are explored. This is an opportunity for attendees to submit their website for an ”at arm’s length review” by the team at Whitespace, the results of which are shared as examples during the interactive session. But it’s not mandatory to submit a website for review, and it may not be possible to review all websites at the event.
Online marketing
Having built their website, many people think that’s the job done. But this seminar tackles the subject of what to do to drive people to it? It covers the many facets of proactive online marketing, from search, social media and paid advertising, to email, display advertising and working with affiliates, and the types of things to consider before you even commission a new website or the redesign of an existing site.
Online advertising
As online media spend is set to overtake TV, there is an ever-growing requirement for more effective, and creative, online advertising that excites and informs, rather than annoys and intrudes. This seminar covers everything you need to know about online advertising and its possibilities. It uses case studies to demonstrate how campaigns are developed and the challenges overcome. This is a must for anyone briefing online advertising campaigns or thinking about translating above-the-line creative into the Digital Space.
