whitespace - space for thought

It has been almost 10 years since we designed and built The Scotch Malt Whisky Society's first website, and on Thursday last week we put a new one live. As the Society celebrates 25 years of delighting its members with single cask, single malt whisky, we can stand back for a very brief moment and feel really proud of a job well done. Big thanks to the whole SMWS team both here at Whitespace but also out at SMWS HQ, we all celebrated with a suitable dram at 4pm last Thursday! No rest for the wicked, on with the next phase, Slainte Mhath!

Design and music have always been great bedfellows: Peter Blake and The Beatles; Peter Saville and New Order; Tomato and Underworld; Andy Warhol and The Velvet Underground; and Airside and Lemonjelly. Here at Whitespace we've always loved music - though after watching our own little song and dance posted last month you might find this hard to believe.

Last night some of the team went to see Australian band The Presets whilst Phillip's band leBLEU's released their second album on Monday! Following a seven year gap since the release of 'Out of . . . leBLEU' the new album titled 'the RISE and FALL of . . . leBLEU' is a varied mix of styles with an international twist.
