Exploring the borders between sound and vision

Kill Your Timid Notion is one of Europe’s leading festivals of sound and image. It’s all about exploring the many different ways we navigate the borders, disparities and similarities between what we hear and what we see. It involves some of the great experimental artists, musicians and filmmakers of our time, as well as some of the not-too-distant future. The festival features film developed as it's projected, visual harmonics, jerry rigged 16mm projectors, movement without motion, absurd concrete poetry, your chance to inhabit three distinct points in time all at once and much, much more!
Whitespace are proud to support the festival and produced all marketing materials and the festival microsite:

Enjoy Scotland’s outdoors. Know the code

Working with Mightysmall, Whitespace have developed the identity guidelines for The Scottish Outdoor Access Code, which is a Scottish Natural Heritage brand. The brand identity and elements for ‘Know the code’ had previously been used in many different guises across a range of literature, and consequently the message had lost clarity as well as visual consistency. A new brand identity and design framework was required for use across multiple applications, and we produced a set of guidelines and master files available on and off-line. These will now be rolled out across all literature, advertising and promotional materials.

Liquid Imagination

Following on from the launch of valtti.co.uk a few months ago, the brand spanking new website for the Feelings Liquid Imagination range of interior paints is now live!
We are all just a little proud of this site, and it's really a testament to a great product, innovative brand approach, and a receptive client. Working with Mightysmall on the launch materials and look and feel of the brand has been very successful. The best way to understand what it's all about is to just dive on in and start painting the bedroom walls or the kitchen cupboards, or go ahead and start ordering your samples!

Now that the party's over

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who turned out last night to see Don and Carol sail off into the sunset - and also for the huge effort everyone put into the truly amazing range of fancy-dress costumes! For those of you whose memories are a little hazy, we've posted a full gallery of the costumes on our Flickr page.
We've also uploaded both the videos that were shown last night - you can see Don and Carol's farewell message, as well as our own little song and dance on Youtube.
Thanks to everyone once again from Don, Carol and everyone at Whitespace.
